Thank you for your interest in our ribbon shirts.
YES, we do take special and custom orders!
Mom (Donna Jean) and I (Kathryn) make several different sizes of shirts, including youth , teens and
mens up to XXXXL (4X), all different and unique. You can learn more about us from our always-in-progress website, www.stompingturtle.com
.
Mainly our men's shirts offer a point collars, nice front openings, long and straight-to-the-hem drop-style
sleeves, and 5.5 to 6 inch bottom side vents. The body is basically straight, but if more room is needed "on the bottom" we
can flare out the pattern a bit, as is standard on our XXXL size and up. We can also accommodate shorter and taller guys.
Everybody, so far, has been finding our shirts very roomy and generous; suitable for work, special occasions, drumming and
dancing!
We can make collarless shirts or create short sleeved shirt too! Please check out our fabric pages, you
will find the clickable links on the far left of this page.
Here are some of our sizes and garment measurements, so that you can compare them to another shirt of yours
that fits like you would like this shirt to fit:
Mens Small--chest/body of about 46 inches
Medium--about 50 inches
Large--about 54 inches
Extra-Large--about 58 inches
Extra-Extra-Large--about 61 inches
XXXL--about 64 inches in the chest, and a little extra at the waist,
XXXXL--this size is more of a custom fit, so we "make the pattern" as we lay it out on the fabric.
Our prices depend heavily on the quality of fabric chosen and the yardage needed. The traditional calicos
and solid colors cost less than the non-traditional theme prints ("premium fabrics"). In general the men's shirts have run
from $48.00 for a collarless short-sleeve to $75 for a very customized long sleeve shirt with a collar in the largest sizes.
On the average, prices are $50 to $70 plus $6.50 insured priority postage
shipping. We accept credit card payment through PayPal, and money orders just before shipping.
We would be so happy to hear from you if you are interested, or if you have any more questions. We look
forward to building a ribbon shirt with your ideas!
